Italasia is thrilled to unveil Iwa sake, presented firstly at Italasia Erawan. This masterful creation comes from Richard Geoffroy, the legendary former Chef de Cave of Dom Pérignon Champagne. Though deeply rooted in Champagne traditions, a profound connection with Japan and its exquisite sake developed. This deep passion led to the establishment of Iwa 5 in Japan, a venture where innovation could flourish while seamlessly blending unparalleled champagne expertise.
A partnership formed with Ryuichiro Masuda, CEO of Masuda Shuzo, a venerable sake brewery with roots tracing back to 1983, to bring Iwa to life.
Iwa Assembly 5 proudly stands as a Junmai Daiginjo. This means it's crafted without any added alcohol, and its rice is polished to an exceptional 35%. What makes Iwa 5 truly special is its incredible versatility: it can be savored at any temperature from 1 to 55 degrees Celsius, with each degree revealing a fascinating spectrum of flavors and aromas.
