Torrevento’s story begins in the Alta Murgia National Park, where a 15th-century stone monastery gave its name to the estate. The winery’s roots trace back to 1913, when Francesco Liantonio’s grandfather left for New York seeking opportunity. Today, Torrevento remains deeply connected to its rugged Apulian landscape, focusing on native grape varieties that reflect the region’s true winemaking spirit and preserving the estate’s authentic, rural character.
