Italasia, a long-time leading importer of products from Italy, led by Managing Director Chakrit Benedetti and Fa Benedetti, Executive Management and Hospitality Director of Italasia Group hosted the grand opening party for the official unveiling of its 31st showroom located at Vanit Village, the chic new community mall that just recently opened in the Ari neighbourhood. The showroom is situated on the 1st floor and spans over 87 square metres with an izakaya style design concept to encapsulate the spirit of the neighbourhood popularised by its many residents, restaurants and the bustling atmosphere ideal for Japanese-style social drinking and dining. The specialty of the Ari branch lies in its vast offering of imported Japanese beverage products. The event was attended by celebrities, on Wednesday 8 March 2023, at Italasia, 1st Floor, Vanit Village.

After celebrating the 60th anniversary as one of the pioneering purveyors of quality Italian delicacy products for Thai people to experience, to becoming the country’s major wine importer, “Italasia” marks the auspicious occasion with the opening of its 31st branch totalling 17 branches in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. Checking into the heart of the famous “Ari” neighbourhood with an Izakaya shop design that makes you feel like you are strolling through Japan at first glance. The shop draws inspiration from the popular Japanese eating and drinking culture enjoyed by salarymen with their after work hang-outs. The Ari neighbourhood is also home to many excellent izakaya-style restaurants in the area.

The shop’s simplistic interior is accented with warm colours and features an eye-catching wooden bar. Handmade Japanese lanterns specially made from mulberry paper adorn the shop’s ceiling, radiating soft light and inviting visitors to soak up the relaxing atmosphere and scent of the Land of the Rising Sun while browsing a wide range of top-notch products from around the world. The highlight of the Ari branch is the complete collection of Japanese beverage products and specialties and also packed with a complete array of premium imported products from wine, liquor, sake, chuhai, soju and other beverages from Italy, France, Spain, Australia, and Chile, to nonalcoholic beverages such as MONIN, illy coffee. Besides drinks, the store features tableware brands such as Luzerne and Wedgwood, as well as Schott Zwiesel, the famous crystal glassware brand from Germany and maker of the best-selling wine glasses at Italasia. In this occasion, Italasia also launched the special collection from Zwiesel Glas for the first time called “Journey” – the anniversary series to celebrate its 150-year history, designed by famous designer Sebastian Herkner.
